Nimlas continues to expand its industrial capabilities in Finland with the acquisition of Teollisuusasennus P. Kaskenviita Oy, a company specialising in industrial piping and equipment installations, maintenance and piping prefabrication. The acquisition strengthens Nimlas’ expertise in the pharmaceutical and process industries and water utilities, while creating new opportunities for collaboration in data centre projects and industrial services.

Teollisuusasennus P. Kaskenviita generates annual revenue of approximately EUR 3 million and employs eight people. Founded in 1989, the company serves industrial customers across Finland. Its services include process piping, equipment installations, maintenance and shutdown work, as well as piping prefabrication at its workshop in Parkano.

The acquisition complements the expertise of Speweld Service, which joined Nimlas earlier this year. Together, the companies strengthen Nimlas’ industrial offering and create opportunities to combine mechanical installations, piping, electrical services and automation.

“Speweld Service brought us strong expertise in industrial mechanical installations and maintenance, while Kaskenviita adds specialised capabilities in process piping and piping prefabrication. We see significant opportunities to combine the expertise of our companies, particularly in industrial and data centre projects,” says Mikko Sahikallio, Business Area Director at Nimlas Finland.

The company is currently led by brothers Rainer and Harri Kaskenviita, whose father founded the business.

“Joining Nimlas gives us access to a wider network of expertise and new opportunities to serve our customers. We already receive enquiries about electrical and automation services alongside our existing offering, and now we can respond to these needs together", says Harri Kaskenviita.

Teollisuusasennus P. Kaskenviita will continue operating under its own name and existing management, in line with Nimlas’ decentralised business model.

Including Kaskenviita, Nimlas has acquired or agreed to acquire 11 companies in Finland this year and established one new company. Nimlas Finland has also completed one asset deal. The acquired companies represent combined annual revenue of over EUR 70 million. Once all agreed acquisitions have been completed, Nimlas will comprise 58 locally managed companies in Finland.
