Nimlas Finland enters industrial technical services through the acquisition of Speweld Service

Nimlas Finland has signed an agreement to acquire Speweld Service Oy, marking its entry into industrial technical services. Speweld Service specialises in industrial maintenance, demanding welding, pressure equipment and industrial piping services.

Based in Orimattila, Speweld Service provides industrial maintenance and specialised technical services to customers across the process, energy and heavy industries throughout Finland. The company has annual revenue of approximately EUR 20 million and employs around 90 professionals. Together with approximately 400 subcontractor professionals, Speweld Service has the capacity to deliver large-scale industrial maintenance projects and turnarounds across Finland.

Founded in 2003, Speweld Service has built a strong reputation as a trusted partner for demanding industrial maintenance, turnarounds and project deliveries. The company will continue to operate under its own brand as part of Nimlas, retaining its management, employees and customer relationships.

The planned acquisition supports Nimlas Group's 4–40–4 strategy to double its business in each Nordic market while expanding into European markets by 2031. In Finland, the acquisition broadens Nimlas' technical services offering into industrial environments, complementing its strong position in building-related technical installations and supporting the Group's long-term growth strategy.

The transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority.
