Nimlas in Sweden continues its growth journey in ventilation through the acquisition of Keyvent Öst AB. The acquisition is in line with the 5-50-500 growth strategy, which aims to reach SEK 5 billion in revenue, add 50 new companies and SEK 500 million in profit.
Claes Örman co-founded Keyvent Öst in 2018. The company provides installations within ventilation, cooling, as well as control and automation systems. In 2020, the business was expanded to include mechanical and welding maintenance services. Since its founding, the company has experienced strong growth and continued to develop at a rapid pace.
Its customers are primarily within the nuclear power industry, as well as commercial and public property owners and contractors. Projects include industrial facilities, public buildings and new residential construction.
Keyvent Öst has revenue of approximately SEK 135 million for the rolling 12-month period ending April 2026 and employs 64 people working on service assignments and contracting projects in Kalmar County. The company has offices in Kalmar, Ålem and Oskarshamn. Keyvent Öst has achieved impressive growth since its start and is known for the high quality of its work, resulting in many long-standing customer relationships.
We plan to continue growing, and to do so we need a strong and reliable partner to grow with. We now have access to a new structure, including business systems and support in areas such as HR and procurement, which gives us excellent conditions for taking the next step, says Claes Örman, Founder and Managing director.
Mattias Karlsson, Head of Contracting and Branch Manager in Oskarshamn, continues:
For us, Nimlas is the perfect fit – a group built by entrepreneurs, just like us, with an understanding of what it takes for us to focus on our customers and our business while working efficiently. We look forward to contributing our knowledge and expertise across our disciplines.
Through the acquisition of Keyvent Öst, we are strengthening our position within the service and industrial segments. I am pleased to welcome Claes, Mattias and their colleagues to the Nimlas Sweden, says Per Herrlin, Regional Manager, Technical, Nimlas Sweden.
The transaction will be completed in August.
