Nimlas, a leading Nordic technical installations group, continues to expand its network in Finland by acquiring LP Electric Oy, a Turku-region electrical contractor specialising in residential construction, care facilities and service work. The acquisition supports Nimlas Finland’s growth journey, combining organic expansion with targeted acquisitions to strengthen its local presence and technical capabilities.
LP Electric, based in Lieto, delivers electrical contracting as well as antenna and fire alarm systems, alongside a growing service and maintenance business. The company reported revenue of approximately EUR 9.6 million in 2025 and employs 48 professionals.
Founded in 2014 by childhood friends Tommi Leino and Matti Pakula, LP Electric has built a strong position through technical expertise, close customer relationships and a reputation as a trusted employer.
“We know our customers, and they know us. Every project matters. We deliver quality work and earn our place in the next project,” says Tommi Leino, CEO of LP Electric.
“Our team is highly skilled and tightly knit. It was important for us to find a partner where we can continue to operate in our own way. That is key to keeping our people engaged going forward,” says Matti Pakula, Installation Manager at LP Electric.
“Joining Nimlas gives us access to purchasing advantages and additional support to keep growing.”
LP Electric will continue to operate under its own brand within Nimlas, retaining its management, employees and customer relationships.
Expanding a strong local network
With the addition of LP Electric, Nimlas Finland now includes 49 entrepreneur-led companies specialising in technical installations and services. In Southwest Finland, Nimlas already operates through companies such as Alti-Systems, Calto, Calto Service and Cervius Group.
The transaction marks Nimlas Finland’s second acquisition in 2026, following the acquisition of DT Systems, a data cabling specialist based in Vantaa.
“Nimlas Finland continues to grow through acquisitions and by building new companies together with entrepreneurial professionals. LP Electric is a strong addition to our network — a locally rooted company with the right mindset and capability to deliver,” says Kimmo Lehtonen, Region Manager, Projects South Finland at Nimlas Finland.
