QMG Achieves a Milestone of 50 Subsidiaries with the Newest Acquisition

Nimlas, the Nordic installation group, proudly announces the acquisition of KVL Putki- ja Poltinhuolto Oy (KVL) by its Finnish operations, QMG. This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone, as QMG now encompasses 50 subsidiaries, further solidifying the group's presence and service capabilities in the region.

KVL, based in Kouvola, Southeast Finland, is renowned for providing versatile heating, sanitation, and ventilation services. With a robust portfolio that includes installations and services for housing companies, industrial and office properties, as well as the public sector and private households, KVL is poised to strengthen QMG's market position in the region. The acquisition is aligned with Nimlas' objective of reaching 12 billion SEK in revenue and achieving a 10% EBITA.

KVL, which reported a turnover of 2.7 million euros for the financial period ending July 31, 2023, employs 13 skilled professionals who will continue in their current roles. The company will retain its brand name post-acquisition. Founders Mikko Karhu, Tuomas Karhu, and Kimmo Sipura will join the ownership program of Nimlas and bring their extensive industry expertise to the QMG family.

The acquisition process, initiated last winter, saw a quick and seamless integration of KVL into QMG.
