Sandbäckens establishes in Uppsala through the acquisition of VVS Teknik Fålhagen

Sandbäckens, part of the Nimlas Group, establishes in Uppsala through the acquisition of VVS Teknik Fålhagen AB. Uppsala County is a new geography for the Sandbäckens Group. The acquisition is part of Sandbäckens 5-50-500 strategy: 5 billion in turnover, 50 new companies and 500 million in earnings, and we plan to grow strongly in all disciplines.

- I am very proud that Sandbäckens is growing, and we are now represented in Uppsala with VVS Teknik Fålhagen. Uppsala is an exciting market, and we see great potential for us there, says Christoffer Järkeborn, President and CEO of Sandbäckens.

VVS Teknik Fålhagen started in 2014 and is run by Perra Johansson and Åsa Johansson. The business consists of heat pump installations, service assignments, new installations, rebuilds and total bathroom solutions. Furthermore, conversions from electricity to water-borne heat are carried out. The customers are represented in medium-sized companies, property owners, insurance companies and consumers. The company has 15 employees based in Fålhagen and work is carried out in Uppsala County and northern Stockholm.

- Now we have the right platform to be able to grow the company with more services such as contracting projects and other more extensive assignments. I look forward to the next step in the development, says Perra Johansson, CEO VVS Teknik Fålhagen.

Sandbäckens enables VVS Teknik Fålhagen to continue its operations as an independent and business-driven subsidiary with Perra Johansson as CEO.

The acquisition of VVS Teknik Fålhagen was completed in July 2024.
